Employee Benefits

Insurance benefits are available to benefit eligible employees. Benefit eligible is defined as: full-time employment or a part-time schedule of 30 or more hours.

Health Insurance
Group health insurance is available to all benefit eligible employees. Providers are available depending upon the geographic location of the office. The health insurance plan has a three-tier option and three plan designs to meet the needs of our employees. All medical premiums are deducted on a pre-tax basis from the employee’s payroll.

Dental
Dental insurance is available to benefit eligible employees. Employee premiums are offset by GAS. Limited Family and Family coverage premiums are deducted on a pre-tax basis from the employee’s payroll.

Audio/Visual
Audio/Visual insurance is available to benefit eligible employees. Employee premiums are paid by GAS. Family coverage premiums are deducted on a pre-tax basis from the employee’s payroll.

125 Flex Comp Plan
GAS has a 125 flex comp plan that allows insurance premiums to be paid with pre-tax dollars. This plan also provides the option to withhold dollars on a pretax basis to reimburse allowable medical expenses and childcare expenses.

GAS Retirement Savings Plan
Effective on their hire date, employees are eligible to defer their salary into our 401(k) plan, through pre-tax payroll deduction. In addition, GAS may match 50% of the employee’s contribution up to the first 4% saved. Matching begins approximately 6 months after hire. Employees are 100% vested starting on their hire date. In addition, the Profit Sharing plan may make annual contributions based on a percentage of total compensation.

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
GAS is an employee owned firm. Participation begins on January 1st or July 1st following twelve months of employment. Annual contributions may be made and are based on a percentage of total compensation.

Life Insurance
GAS provides benefit eligible employees with $50,000 of life insurance. In addition, employees have the option to purchase additional life insurance for themselves, their spouse, and dependents.

Short-Term Disability
GAS provides short-term disability insurance to all eligible employees. Coverage begins on the 8th day following a serious accident or illness. The insurance provides protection of 70 percent of salary.

Long-Term Disability
GAS provides long-term disability insurance to all eligible employees. Coverage begins on the 91st day following a serious accident or illness. The insurance provides protection of 60 percent of salary.

Paid Time Off
GAS appreciates the hard work of employees and understands the need for time off. Our professionals manage their time and workload giving them increased flexibility and time off throughout the year.

Training, Mentorship and Leadership Development Programs
At GAS, we value you-your talent, your commitment, and your career. We view your career development as a spectrum that begins with your personal education and continues through participation in various GAS training, mentoring, and leadership programs.

GAS has implemented training, mentorship, and leadership development programs, which have been designed to assist in your career development at GAS. These programs are available to all members of GAS who seek to improve their personal and collaborative leadership skills.

Tuition Reimbursement
GAS encourages their employees to continue their career development through formal education. We have established a tuition reimbursement program in order to provide growth opportunities and foster employee development. Tuition reimbursement is offered with the expectation of your continued employment with the firm.

Professional Societies
GAS encourages every employee to join and participate in the activities of professional societies. We will pay for dues for individual membership in one professional and/or technical society.

Corporate Casual Dress
We are a professional service firm and present a professional image to our clients, customers, and visitors. We are also a progressive firm and want our employees to be comfortable. Our dress policy gives the option of wearing business casual clothing throughout the workweek.
