At GRAEF, with more than 40 LEED® Accredited Professionals on staff, we look at projects to recognize and highlight sustainable design services and incorporate design practices outlined by the U.S. Green Building Council. In addition to conserving natural resources and reducing solid wastes, the economic and community benefits to building “green” include reducing operating costs, enhancing value, improving air quality, and enhancing community vitality. GRAEF has provided design for over 20 projects that have achieved LEED® Certification or are registered and pursuing certification. Building Design and Construction (BD+C) recently ranked GRAEF among the nation’s 150 largest green design firms in 2009. We provide sustainable services in the following areas:
